GRAMMAR RECALL

SUBJECT-VERB AGREEMENT

Subject-Verb Agreement is essential in grammar. A subject (what is being talked about in a sentence) and verbs must agree with one another in number: singular or plural. Thus, if a subject is singular, its verb must also be plural.

TASK 1

ZOOM CLASS OUTPUT

(This is accomplished during online class via Zoom.)

  • Use the subject pronouns in sentences bearing in mind the subject-verb agreement.

  • Submit output via ZOOM CHATBOX.

TASK 2

WHAT TO DO

As you go through the blog you would notice a TRY THIS section at the end of the discussion of every rule. The items found in that section shall be answered and submitted to Google Classroom.

CONGRATULATIONS!

YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED THE FIRST TASKS OF THE WEEK.

THOUGHTS TO PONDER

GRAMMAR IS NOT EVERYTHING but....it doesn't mean it's not worth learning. Grammar is the foundation of a good communication. However, if you are not comfortable with your grammar, don't think about it...think about what you want to say. You would be surprised how grammar flows with your thoughts because sometimes grammar comes out naturally. In my class, I don't scorn you for bad grammar....I will always admire you for courageously TRYING!
