PERSUASIVE WRITING

A persuasive essay is a form of writing wherein the speaker convinces the readers through their emotions. The writer clearly has already set his essay for a specific audience in which he is writing for to convince through highly descriptive words that trigger their emotional aspect.


TASK 3

For your performance task, you will be writing a persuasive essay, but before you do that you need to plot your ideas first. Here's what to do.

1. Choose the organization or government agency you wish to represent. (Assume that you are a representative of a government agency from the list below.)

2. Once you've made up your choice, be ready to plot your possible essay by accomplishing the SUPPORTING REASONS MATRIX.

IMPORTANT: Your essay will aim to convince the readers the importance of taking into consideration the welfare of the consumers in relation to the consumer law anchored on the organization or government agency of your choice's agenda and values.
