FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE
The use of figures of speech is dominant in creative writing. Simile, metaphor, onomatopoeia, allusion, personification, litotes, paradox, oxymoron, synecdoche, metonymy, apostrophe, hyperbole, irony.

WRITING VERSES
A verse basically refers to a single line in poetic composition. Verses can be grouped together as part of a song or poetry.
Take a look at the example below.
This verse written by Teacher Jeanille is composed after capturing the beautiful scenery of the sunset.
TIPS IN WRITING A VERSE:
Create an imagery in your head if you are not looking at an image of a landscape and the like.
Make a comparison of the movements or circumstances that the image may have brought about to real life.
Portray a tone in a way that you are giving an advice or perhaps an expression of longing, sadness, happiness, etc.
Use figures of speech.
WHAT TO DO:
Watch every video for each figure of speech to refresh your mind about the topic.
