LET'S BEGIN!

True indeed that an artwork is an expression of the emotions of the artist, however it also activates and prompts the viewer's emotions.

Let's see how you react to the chosen masterpieces from the art movement of your choice as you clap and tap revealing a beat that matches the emotions you are trying to convey.

You can check out my FLIPBOARD magazine once more to help you expand your options.

WHAT TO DO

1. Download two artworks in which you have different reactions. (happy, sad, confused, excited, afraid, angry, etc.)

2. Use the artworks to make a very short video showing how you react to each by creating “tapping sounds” or by clapping.

IMPORTANT: The video must NOT contain narrations as your viewer shall focus on the sound you make. Thus, simply label the emotion/reaction you portray by adding text.

4. Upload your video via your social media account or to your blog.

IMPORTANT: If you are a very private individual who does not feel comfortable posting such videos of yourself, you may opt to save the video in your google drive. Turn on shareable link. Please do understand that your output would NOT qualify for bonus points.

5. Submit only the link to Google Classroom.

Be guided by the TRANSMUTATION table below to know the possible scores you'll get depending on the rating indicated in the rubric above. This task is worth 50 points.

CONGRATULATIONS!

YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED THE TASKS FOR THE WEEK.

THOUGHTS TO PONDER

How we react towards every stimuli found in our surroundings is part of who we are as a person. These reactions could be anchored on past experiences, unlikely or not. We just have to bear in mind that one reaction does not say it all. Be understanding.
