Verbs have traditionally been defined as words that show action or state of being. They can also be recognized by their position in a sentence.

GRAMMAR IS NOT EVERYTHING but....it doesn't mean it's not worth learning. Grammar is the foundation of a good communication. However, if you are not comfortable with your grammar, don't think about it...think about what you want to say. You would be surprised how grammar flows with your thoughts because sometimes grammar comes out naturally. In my class, I don't scorn you for bad grammar....I will always admire you for courageously TRYING!
