Mythology is a set of stories, traditions, or beliefs associated with a particular group or the history of an event, arising naturally or deliberately fostered. These stories are generally supposed to show readers the way the human race thought and felt untold ages ago.

It is believed that through these the path from civilized man who lives so far from nature, to man who lived in close companionship with it can be retraced; and the real interest of the myths is that they lead us back to a time when the world was young and people had a connection with the earth, with trees and seas and flowers and hills.

A reference list is a complete list of references used in a piece of writing including the author name, date of publication, title and more. An APA reference list must:
- Be on a new page at the end of the document
- Be centered
- Be alphabetically by name of first author (or title if the author isn’t known, in this case a, an and the should be ignored
- If there are multiple works by the same author these are ordered by date, if the works are in the same year they are ordered alphabetically by the title and are allocated a letter (a,b,c etc) after the date
- Contain full references for all in-text references used
