UDOT policies are written and developed to provide further clarification on how UDOT will carry out and perform responsibilities as defined by Utah State Code and administrative rules.
UDOT policies help employees accomplish their work by providing guidance, consistency, accountability, efficiency, and clarity on how UDOT operates. In some cases, policies continue to further develop and define responsibilities and actions that will be taken as directed by Utah State Code and administrative rules. Policies provide more detail on how programs or actions will be carried out.
