This chapter will help explain how the following documents provide direction and guidance; it will also define how UDOT is to carry out maintenance activities. This chapter will provide an understanding of how the following documents are created and the process they go through for acceptance and approval by the associated approving authorities. Central Maintenance is tasked with the ownership of several administrative rules, policies, memos, and UDOT standards. If concerns or questions arise regarding these documents, please contact the Director of Maintenance. A UDOT Google site has been created to house each of these important documents for easy referencing.
