The idea of this work was to use photoshop to create a new version of a photograph. I wanted this to look very realistic, which proved as both a blessing and a curse at times. This project took a long time because of the pure detail, and small brush strokes it required, but in the end when zoomed out, this fine detail was amazing, and made the drawing really cool to look at. when zoomed out to look at the full picture after looking at these small sections for so long, it was almost shocking. It was both satisfying to see how this work using small detail had payed off, but also disappointing to see how little area of space your hours of work really was.

For this piece of art, I created it digitally using Adobe Photoshop. This was a new material to me, so it took some getting used, to and time, doing and undoing work while trying to figure out how to fix the problems I was having with the software, but eventually it worked and I ended up with this cool piece of art, with not many problems after the first couple tries.

I wasn't there the day that the media was taught to us, so I had to learn from a video telling us about a different version of the app. I had some trouble at first with getting the layers right, and what layers the drawing versus the picture was on,  but I figured it out eventually and ended up not having any problems for the rest of the project.  I used a photo that my dad took to make small blocks of color to make the photograph into a design.
