The idea behind this work was to make a realistic representation of a real life object using wire, using fishhook connections. For the cube, it was just a practice so we were just trying to make an even cube. For the water bottle that  I made I had to use my real water bottle as a reference and sort of map things out from there.

The materials used for this were wire obviously to make the sculpture itself. Then we used needle-nose pliers and wire cutters as our tools to help with the process. Then my hands were also a tool that I used to make softer bends and things.

The process for the water bottle: I started with just making two larger circles and two smaller ones out of wire, these were to be the base for the shape. Then I created lines with fishhook connections on either side to connect to the first and second circles. Then I did horizontal connections to make a smaller circle inside and make the base for the lid. After that was done I added the nadle and tried to wrap it in thinner wire but that just kind of smushed it, oh well!
