With the help of eCarUp billing by credit and debit card, charging stations can be fully automated and thus billed with minimal effort. This is possible for 1:1 billing in rental relationships or STEWGs, but also in semi-public (e.g. visitor parking spaces) or fully public applications.
Billing by credit card
The eCarUp app has a fully automated payment function. Either the money is debited by credit card.
Transactions by credit card
If a chargeable transaction takes place at an eCarUp station, the corresponding amount (based on the price set by the station owner) is charged to the credit card deposited by the driver immediately after the charging process. The credit is transferred fully automatically to an account of the station owner. For this service, eCarUp charges a 10% fee, which includes all credit card and transaction fees up to the payout to an IBAN account as requested by the station owner.
(Withdrawals can only be made from an amount of CHF 10/EURO).
Transactions under CHF 0.50 will not be processed by the system.
The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and JCB.
Disbursements
Earned income is credited to the station owner. You can enter your desired IBAN in the web portal and initiate the payment of the credit balance at any time. As a station owner, you must provide some personal information in accordance with the regulatory requirements, based on the Know Your Customer principle valid in Europe.
Station owners receive a confirmation of the transferred amount by e-mail when the credit is paid out. From time to time this may end up in the spam folder.
Failed payout
The withdrawal can be tracked at any time in the web portal under Account and the receipt can be resent to the email address of the account holder.

In most cases, the bank cannot process the credit and the bank must be contacted.

To do this, go to "Account" in the web portal
Click on "Overview"
Click on Payout and the following window appears
