Log in to the eCarUp web portal with your existing login data or if you do not yet have a user account, you can also register directly.
Note: When creating a smart-me account, an eCarUp account with the same name is automatically created and vice versa. The portals are licensed differently and if handled incorrectly, licences could become necessary, especially on the smart-me side. To avoid this, follow the rules below.
Working with OCPP stations:
With OCPP stations, please use an additional and separate account to the already existing smart-me account to avoid additional professional licences at smart-me. (1x Professional Licence per OCPP station account)
If there is no smart-me installation in the building, you are free to create a new account that suits you.
Working with smart-me Pico charging stations:
You can integrate the Pico charging station into an existing smart-me account. To do this, log in to eCarUp with the existing smart-me account information.
If there is no smart-me installation in this building yet, you are free to create a new account that suits you.
Station status: See the status of all charging stations at a glance (available, connected, occupied, out of service)
Last loading processes: At stations in this account (from all users), the last 20 entries. The colours here say nothing about the status.
Income: The credit available for payout from the charging processes at the stations in this account. Soon available means that this is checked by our payment service provider for money laundering and is normally credited for payment within 1-2 hours.
Important: When the status is "out of service", the station has no active communication with the backend. We automatically mark the station as "out of service" after 15 minutes. If you would like to be notified in the event of an interruption, check the following setting "Alarms" on.
Info: If you would like to create your own customised dashboard, take a look at the following page on. the eCarUp API makes it possible.
Filter stations
Organise stations in groups
Monitor status
Important: Does the status not correspond with the wallbox?
In the event of interruptions on the wallbox (especially during active charging processes), it can happen that the status on eCarUp is red (active charging process), but the wallbox is ready again. This means that we have not yet received a command from the station to end the charging process (stop transaction).
A restart or reset can help.
Charging power
Is the current charging power not displayed during the charging process? Have a look at the following article in the Maintenance on.
Click on the three dots on the right to edit the charging station.
Do you have several charging points that you want to process at the same time? Click here to go to the Station management for mass mutations.
You can do the following under Edit:
Change the name and description of the station (this information is visible on the map in the app)
Delete stations
Set station inactive
Upload pictures to the statio
Important: Images with a size of approx. 605 x 806 pixels are suitable.
Edit connection:
(this information is visible in the app)
Name of the connection
Description (optional)
Connection type (plug type)
Max. Energy (kW)
Prices:
Set prices for energy and time
Important: If access is "limited", the field is greyed out, as in this case the price in "Define user" or in the Adv. User Management" is set.
Private: Only the "owner account" can activate, i.e. the account in which the station was installed.
Limited: Only the "owner account" and the "special users" defined per station (via individual "special users or via the Adv. User Management") can activate. Other accounts have no access - neither via app nor via QR code.
Public: All users can unlock the station, either via app or QR code Instant payment method via mobile phone camera or scanner app (with the status public, the station is not yet in the Roaming published with other shop networks, this must be done separately
An individual user with their own price can be stored here.
Or *special users" can also be added via the price rule
Important: If a user is entered in both categories, the price in which they were added as a "single user" applies.
The opening times can also be customised so that the charging stations are only open to the public at certain times of the day, for example. (similar to AirBnB)
For example: An KMU can make charging stations available to employees (special users) at a special price during opening hours. In the evening and at weekends, the unused stations can be made available to the public at a different price.
The result is a win-win situation: The station owner can earn money with existing charging infrastructure and more publicly accessible charging points are created (also in places, e.g. in industrial areas, where there is otherwise no investment in public charging infrastructure).
During the automatic charging process, as soon as the backend reaches a "Preparing" status, a charging process is started under the name of the station operator. This application is only suitable for private use and not for the limited and public use case
Here you can optionally add the station to the Hubject roaming network. You can find more detailed information on how it works in the following article on the Roaming.
Set the location of the station on the map and adjust the address manually if necessary. Attention, please be sure to enter the "Needle" set.
Important, Do you have several charging points in one place? Then please separate the points a little as shown here on the print screen.
The location can also be deleted again.
The station can be activated from the web portal. This is free of charge, as the stations are activated in the name of the station operator.
Would you like to edit all charging points together in terms of users or price?
Then carry out the following steps:
Select the desired stations (see checkbox at the beginning).
Klclick on "Edit selected stations".
You will now see the number of selected stations and can activate access, price, reserved times and roaming for all selected stations.

If you would like to integrate an OCPP charging station with eCarUp, you can find one here Instructions per manufacturer.
