Backend Integration Guide
IABL stations can be integrated into the eCarUp billing system in just a few steps and free of charge. Once installed in your account, you can easily define the terms of use of your stations yourself (prices, users, available times, etc.). You decide who can charge, when and at what price. Learn more about how OCPP stations work with eCarUp in general.

Preparatory steps for the integration of OCPP stations into the eCarUp Cloud
Install your station and connect your computer to the same network as the charging station
Create an account in the eCarUp app
Log into the eCarUp web portal and click on the "OCPP" tab in the menu on the left under stations
Copy the URL to the clipboard and store it at the desired station in the web interface.
⚠️ Important
You need to connect a vehicle to start the charging process. Otherwise, no charging process will be initiated.
If charging is started with the RFID card, charging can only be terminated via the car (e.g. unlocking the cable) or via the eCarUp app. Holding the RFID card against the reader does not end the charging process.
Access the station
As soon as you have connected to the station select the following IP in the browser: http://169.254.1.1:8300/
Check in the system data whether the most current software version is installed
Configuration
Change OCPP version to 1.6
Insert the entire URL from the eCarUp account (preparatory step 4)
Rename ChargeBox ID. Attention: no spaces allowed
Save and restart the station.
Important:
The chargebox ID must not contain more than 20 characters.
Advanced setting via maintenance tool (eCarUp Premium)
The upload interval of the Meter Values may vary from station to station.
We recommend an interval between 30-60s. This is the only way we can better calculate and display the current charging power on the app.
