Backend Integration Guide
Eaton stations can be integrated into the eCarUp billing system in just a few steps and free of charge. Once installed in your account, you can easily define the terms of use of your stations yourself (prices, users, available times, etc.). You decide who can charge, when and at what price. Learn more about how OCPP stations work with eCarUp in general.

Preparatory steps for the integration of the OCPP station into the eCarUp Cloud
Your charging stations are installed and your computer or mobile phone is on the same network as the charging station.
You have created an account in the eCarUp App & or in the web portal
Log in to the eCarUp web portal with your account details and click on the "OCPP" tab in the menu on the left hand side under Stations.
Copy the URL to the clipboard and store it at the desired station in the web interface.

Integration of the station
Here, the company Greent-Motion / EATON must store the OCPP URL remotely.
Important: The / at the end of the URL must be added manually.

Integrating the charging station
Switch on the station
Please activate the WiFi on your mobile phone
The station makes a hotspot (active for 30min) with the last 4 digits of the serial number. E.g. GreenMotion!XXX
Please connect your mobile phone to the hotspot and go to the following IP in the browser: 192.168.53.1
Configure the network and continue with the steps below.
OCPP Implementation:

Add eCarUp URL from your account
/ + add serial number of the station {BoxID}
Example: wss://www.ecarup.com/api/Ocpp16/D037091EE3026BE0/HL68P28001
Set security profile to 0. (eCarUp is working on a solution)

Save and restart the station.
Advanced setting via maintenance tool (eCarUp Premium)
The upload interval of the Meter Values may vary from station to station.
We recommend an interval between 30-60s. This is the only way we can better calculate and display the current charging power on the app.
You can change this as follows:
Get Configuration (to read out what is programmed).
