Instant Payment

eCarUp charging stations can also be easily activated by users without an eCarUp app.

1. Scan the QR code on the charging station with a QR code scanner of your choice or your mobile phone camera. You will be redirected to a website.

2. You will then see information and costs for the station. Enter your credit and debit card information or use Apple & Google Pay. 

3. Field for the e-mail address (for sending the receipt and the permanent link).

4. Accept the terms of use.

5. click on Activate and the charging process will start.

Note: As we do not know the driver, we reserve CHF 60 on the credit card and refund the difference after the charging process is completed. 

If the loading process is unsuccessful, the blocked money will automatically be released again within 5-10 working days. eCarUp does not retain any credit unlawfully.

4. You get to the overview and see the current charging process. (Attention: this live data can vary depending on the station manufacturer).

6. Again the Field for the e-mail address (for sending the receipt and the permanent link). Please click on send.

7. You can create an account directly from the instant payment. 

Important: Some mobile phones save the browser content (cache) and if you accidentally close the browser, you can scan the QR code again with the mobile phone camera and get back to this overview.
