Backend Integration Guide
The EVTEC Stations can be integrated into the eCarUp billing system in just a few steps. Once installed in your account, you can easily define the conditions of use for your stations yourself (prices, users, available times, etc.). You decide who can charge, when and at what price.

Make sure that your charging stations are installed and that your computer or cell phone is connected to the same network as the charging station.
Open the eCarUp web portal and log in with your account details.
Click on the "Stations" tab in the menu on the left-hand side.
Select the "OCPP" tab.
Copy the URL to the clipboard.
Go to the web interface of the desired station and paste the copied URL accordingly.

A credit card terminal can be operated in parallel with eCarUp to ensure maximum flexibility. For further information, please contact EVTEC.
Adapt the IP settings of the EVTEC station to the IP network of the station administrator (on the device).
Connect to the EV station with a PC from the same network (via the IP address defined above). See screenshot with example 192.168.10.20. Then press the «Config» button.
If you have any questions about the station connection (what IP does my station have, username & PW) contact eCarUp or EVTEC directly.
3. Select menu item OCPP.
4. Make settings as shown in the screenshot. Then select Connection Parameters.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Enter the correct path for the desired eCarUp account in the "CsAddress" field.
6. The path for the eCarUp account can be determined as follows.
a) Log into www.ecarup.com with the desired account.
b) Select the «OCPP Url» tab.
c) Copy the link and store it in the "CsAddress" field at the EVTEC interface.
7. At the end, press the «back» button to return to the menu from point 4 of these instructions. Then select «ConfigurationParameters».
8. After selecting «ConfigurationParameters», make the settings for the EVTEV station according to your own needs (example in the screenshot)
9. At the end, use the «back» button to return to the menu from point 4 and then once again to the menu from point 3 of these instructions using the «back» button. Then select «Authentication».
9. Set MeterValuesSampledData with the value Wert Energy.Active.Import.Register,Power.Active.Import so that the live charging power is displayed.
10. At the end, use the «back» button to return to the menu from point 4 and then once again to the menu from point 3 of these instructions using the «back» button. Then select «Authentication».
11. After selecting “Authentication”, set the menu item “Charge Authentication” to OCPP. Leave other menu items untouched.
12. The EVTEC station has now been created in the eCarUp account specified by the URL. The station can now be configured using the standard process in the eCarUp app and web login (location, prices, images, etc.).

The upload interval of the Meter Values may vary from station to station.
We recommend an interval between 30-60s. This is the only way we can better calculate and display the current charging power on the app.
You can change this as follows:
