Racial Advantages: Glide
Racial Disadvantages: Big Target
Restriction: Male-only
Thunderous Teleport +X: When a Volk uses their Deviling racial teleport ability, it is accompanied by a bolt of lightning and a thunderclap in both the spot where they leave and where they arrive. Anyone within 30 feet of either spot must make a nonskilled accuracy roll of 6 or higher or be blinded and deafened by the effect, giving them a -X penalty to all of their rolls for the next 3 rounds. Penalties applied to a character's vision or hearing are considered bonuses to this roll.
Drain Talent X: By spending two hand actions on a grappled target, a Volk can attempt to drain advantages and skills from another character. The total XP value of advantages and skills(whose XP equivalents for the purposes of this ability are listed below) that a Volk can keep drained is equal to X. When they use this ability, they are aware of which skills and advantages a character has(though they don't know exactly what level of skill they have in a particular skill unless they drain it completely) and may choose any advantage with a cost less than or equal to the amount of talent drain they have unused or a single skill and the amount of that skill they wish to drain, assuming they have enough of their talent drain left for it. The Volk and his target both roll their Personality unskilled. If the Volk's roll is equal to or higher than the target's, he drains the ability, making it unusable for the character that possessed it so long as it remains in the Volk's Drain Talent pool. At MSF High, a Volk's Drain Talent pool empties overnight(whenever the Volk Sleeps), but in the rest of the galaxy, this leaves the victim without the advantage or skill points usable until the Volk chooses to remove them from his own Drain Talent pool or is killed. A character whose skill points have been drained still technically has them, but the drained points are inaccessible, so this would not reduce the cost of them to buy additional skill points. A volk can only have one "copy" of any single skill drained at a time, and therefore could not drain one skill point apiece of the same skill from multiple targets to drive his own skill up. Any skill points or Advantages that a Volk has drained are usable by the Volk for as long as he has them in his drain pool, with the drained skill points adding to any he already has but not counted when determining the cost of raising a skill.
Skill Point XP Value: The first skill point has a value of 250 XP, with each subsequent one increasing in cost by 250.
