Special Abilities:
Hasty Cover +X: A Defender with this ability can rush to the aid of another Legion in her hive (or anyone with whom she shares a telepathic connection). When such a character is the target of a melee or ranged attack that targets them alone and the Defender has at least a single hand action left, a Defender may use any of her movement to rush to intercept the attack. If they do so, they can use their active parry or block in place of the targeted character's. If the roll is failed, the Defender is hit instead of the original target. Whenever she uses this ability, the Defender gains +X feet of free movement that may spent only on reaching the attacked ally.
Rock Solid X: X times per encounter, a Legion Defender may choose to re-roll their soak roll, this time with a +X bonus to the roll for each die rolled in the soak roll.
Impenetrable Defense X: At the beginning of each round, a Legion defender gains X primary hand actions that may be spent at any time to block or parry with the Hasty Cover ability. These stack with the normal actions the Defender has on her turn.
Defensive Bond +X: A Legion Defender gains a bonus equal to the lower of +X and the number of Legion characters from her hive within 100 feet to all passive and active defense rolls.
Vigorcharge Crystal +X: A Legion Defender may create crystals that allow the Legion installing the crystal to fortify their passive defenses. Choose a passive defense type when creating this crystal. The True Legion using this crystal may as a free action pay up to 5 times X MP to raise the Legion's passive defense score that the crystal was chosen for by 1 for every 5 MP spent for the rest of the round.
