Special Abilities:
Specialty Dish X Points Y Servings: While a Field Cook can prepare a wide array of different foods, they have perfected a single dish to such a high degree that it provides benefits which are magical in nature. The Field Cook has X points that they may spend in abilities, listed below, that may make up their dish. Once per day, they may spend 30 minutes of relatively uninterrupted time(they could answer questions but not fight in a battle, for example) preparing the dish, which consists of any of the abilities they have bought that they choose, with an MP cost equal to the number of abilities used in the preparation of the dish times 10. Note that in order to use the same ability multiple times the Field Cook must have purchased that ability multiple times. Doing this creates a number of servings of the dish equal to Y. Anyone who eats the meal, which takes 5 relatively uninterrupted minutes, must then make an unskilled Defense roll equal with a difficulty equal to 2 plus the MP cost of the dish divided by 20(rounded up). For example, if the dish cost 50 MP to create, the difficulty would be (2+(50/20))4.5, rounded up to 5. A success means that they are able to keep the meal down. 10 minutes later, they will begin to enjoy the benefits of the meal. Normally, these benefits last for 2 hours, though this can be altered by abilities used by the Field Cook. Here are the abilities you may spend your points on, each one costing a single point:
Filling: Taking this ability increases the amount of time a Field cook's Specialty Dish's benefits persist by two hours. This ability may be taken multiple times, each time adding two hours to the amount of time the benefits last.
Enriched: Choose a stat. While this Field Cook's Specialty Dish's benefits are active, the recipient of those benefits gains a temporary +1 increase to a single stat of your choice. This ability may be taken multiple times, and if the same stat is chosen the bonus increases by +1.
Soothing Aftertaste: While a character is under the effects of this Specialty Dish, they regain 1 MP per minute. This ability may be taken multiple times, with each additional time adding 1 to the amount of MP they regain per minute.
Hearty: While a character is under the effects of this Specialty Dish, they gain a +3 bonus to their defense for the purposes of determining the character's traumatic damage threshold and and resisting toxins, poisons, and diseases, both magical and nonmagical.
Spicy: Whenever a character under the effects of a Specialty Dish with this ability deals Fire-element damage, that damage is raised by +2. This ability may be taken multiple times, and its effects stack. This bonus to damage may only be applied once per turn.
Minty: Whenever a character under the effects of a Specialty Dish with this ability deals Water-element damage, that damage is raised by +2. This ability may be taken multiple times, and its effects stack. This bonus to damage may only be applied once per turn.
Airy: Whenever a character under the effects of a Specialty Dish with this ability deals Wind-element damage, that damage is raised by +2. This ability may be taken multiple times, and its effects stack. This bonus to damage may only be applied once per turn.
Chewy: Whenever a character under the effects of a Specialty Dish with this ability deals Earth-element damage, that damage is raised by +2. This ability may be taken multiple times, and its effects stack. This bonus to damage may only be applied once per turn.
Caffeinated: A character under the effects of a Specialty Dish with this ability adds +1 to all of their initiative rolls. This ability may be taken multiple times, and its effects stack.
