Special Abilities:
Mana Generation: A Legion queen's hive collects excess magical energy and converts it into mana for her. Each day, she may harvest an amount of mana equal to the total threat level of her and all of the Legion in her hive, usually in the form of a pile of mana crystals worth 1, 10, 100, 1000, and 10000 mana each.
Queen's Sympathy xX: X times per encounter, a Legion Queen may switch their skill and stat dice for a single roll with the skill and stat dice of any of their Legion within telepathic range. By using two uses of this ability, they may choose to take the skill of one Legion and the stat of another.
Queen's Strategy X: Once at the beginning of every round, a Legion Queen may, without using any actions, reduce any of her Legion within her sight's Initiatives by any amount, so long as the total she reduces is no more than X. She may then redistribute that initiative to any other Legion within her sight. She may be the target of her own ability.
Queen's Grandeur +X: A Legion Queen gains a +X bonus to all intimidate and infatuate rolls.
Queen's Reputation +X: Each Legion Queen tends to embody a particular ideal, or at least gains a reputation as having done so. This ideal is based on a trait that the character possessed in abundance before they were a Legion Queen, and grows in strength as the Queen gains levels. Examples of ideals could be things like Strength, Beauty, Love, Compassion, Intelligence, Wit, Prudence, Ruthlessness, Charity, or something similar. Whenever you or any of your Legion make a social roll where the other party respects the trait, once per encounter per legion they may take a +X bonus to that roll.
Queen's Gift X: Every day, a Legion Queen has X points that they may spend on gifts granted to themselves or any other True Legion in their hive. Normally, a gift lasts for 1 hour, though points may be spent to increase its duration. A Legion Queen may spend as many of their points on a single gift as they like, and may give multiple gifts in a day, though granting a character a Queen's Gift requires a single hand action and for her to touch the Legion receiving the gift. If any two Queen's gifts on the same character have the same effect(the same stat is effected, for example), only the more potent among them is counted.
Gifts:
1 Point: Raise a single stat of your choice by +2
2 Points: Give the character a +3 bonus to all Infatuate attempts.
3 Points: Grant a vine weapon or legion armor your choice of +2 total in superior quality enhancements. These bonuses stack with any other superior quality enhancements the weapon or armor possesses.
4 Points: Grant the character a +3 bonus to any one skill.
5 Points: Grant the character the ability to heal 1 HP of damage and 1 MP at the beginning of each round, so long as they have at least 1 HP and 1 MP.
Gift Addons: You may alter gifts with these addons, causing their point cost to increase by the amount indicated each time you do so. You can apply any amount of addons you can afford in any combination.
+1 Points: Increase the duration of the gift from 1 hour to 4 hours. If taken multiple times, each additional time taken adds 4 more hours to the duration.
+2 Points: Grant an additional copy of the same gift to an additional character. Each time this is taken adds one more character that gains a copy of the same gift.
+3 Points: Increase the duration of the gift from 1 hour to 1 day. If taken multiple times, each additional time taken adds 1 more day to the duration.
+4 Points: Double all of the effects of the gift. If taken again, the effects triple, then quadruple, and so on.
+5 Points: Increase the duration of the gift from 1 hour to 5 days. If taken multiple times, each additional time taken adds 5 more days to the duration.
Unique Disadvantage: 1000 XP: Queen's Burden: Whenever a True Legion character in the queen's hive takes more than their defense stat in damage, the queen takes 1d4 of unsoakable MP damage unless the queen has enough princesses active(That is, with both positive HP and positive MP) to mitigate the damage. A queen must have one princess for a hive of 10 or less, two princesses for a hive of 100 or less, three for a hive of 1000 or less, and so on. For a Legion character to be a princess, the must purchase the Legion Princess advantage and at least one Inherent Bloodline advantage.
500 XP: Legion Princess: A True Legion character with this advantage is mentally able to act as a sort of hub for the Hive's telepathic network, preventing the queen from taking psychic feedback due to physical injury and facilitating coordination between other Legion characters. At the beginning of each round, immediately after initiative is rolled, a True Legion character with this advantage may coordinate the telepathic abilities of her hive's True Legion participating in the current encounter, allowing them to transmit telepathic messages instantly at any point during the round. Normal racial telepathy moves at a speed similar to speech(And therefore must do so during their turn and with a limit on how much they could transmit), with this improved telepathy a Legion character could let her sisters know information the moment they discover it or let them in on a plan at the last second. This allows the characters to coordinate in ways that the players themselves could formulate but would not normally be realistically feasible. A queen may not take the Legion Princess advantage, and if a character with Legion Princess becomes a Legion Queen, they lose the Legion Princess advantage and are refunded the 500 XP it cost.
