Here, I'll post info on the various characters that attend, operate, and reside near the school.
Teachers:
Magic: Ms. Fenris: Ms. Fenris, a sexy Dark Elf, teaches the Magic class, and is considered to have the hardest job of all the teachers. While other classes teach the students how to cast spells using their own specific means, Ms. Fenris must teach these students how to use spells at all—from memorization to general casting, to using spellbooks of all kinds. She makes a small mint off her side-business of selling magic spells to students, though, which is probably why she continues to teach every day. She seems to have some secrets that she keeps from everyone, but always plays innocent when asked directly about this.
Science: Prof. Riley: Professor Alba Q. Riley is a brilliant, older Human that has created numerous inventions that are still used today in the city. He keeps a few of these inventions on him at all times, most notably his Plasma Cannon, though its normal collapsed appearance as a coffee mug belies its true power. He seems bitter, cynical and surly, but he truly does enjoy teaching his students. He also seems to love coffee, as he keeps his plasma cannon (in mug form) full of it.
Home Economics: Ms. Alouette: The school’s first-year Home Ec teacher is one of the sweetest women in the school. A once-Elven Spirit, she knows more about the preparation of food, the keeping of a clean house, and the magic that can be made with both of these than anyone else in the city. She’s always glad to help her students, using her poltergeist abilities to do the work of two teachers at a distance.
Math: Hr-122β: A Mecha with no discernable gender, Beta, as it’s called by students, is analytical and keeps every last detail it observes within its massive memory banks. It’s impossible to get anything by it, and its class demands that you memorize the strengths and weaknesses of every spell, so that you will know how and when to cast what spell against whom to get the maximum effect out of your unique abilities. Beta has silvery skin, unblinking eyes, and no hair. It seems to be prone to the occasional malfunction.
Martial Arts: Mr. Hwang: Mr. Hwang is a skilled part-Elven martial artist, and he teaches his special style to any students who serve as his apprentices. This martial arts style is powerful, but relies heavily on the student’s strong sense of justice. As for the other students, he allows them to learn martial arts at their own pace, usually so that he will have the free time to pursue his other interest—Ms. Kim, the Gym teacher(though he denies it vehemently).
Gymnastics: Ms. Kim: Miss Kim is, unlike Mr. Hwang, a purebred Elf, and seems to have some kind of history with him that reaches back before their tenure at MSF High. Regardless, she prefers to keep him as a rival rather than a romantic interest, and concentrates on her job as a Gym teacher, perhaps to keep her mind off her feelings for Mr. Hwang. She encourages her students to learn at their own pace (even if they don’t realize how hectic their own pace is), and is adept at pairing up students with partners of equal skill.
Language: Dr. Danielson: A blonde-haired and bespectacled Altearthean from a planet with advanced alien predecessors, Dr. Danielson was once renowned for uncovering artifacts from his culture’s ancestors, and putting them into practical use. He knows more languages than seems reasonable, and has a huge collection of artifacts (often cursed) that he regularly gives out to students as assignments. Perhaps this is because he wants to give his students experience with this kind of item, but more likely it is because he is too scatterbrained to realize that he is assigning students precious artifacts.
History: Prof. Darkrider: Professor Darkrider, the History teacher, is a Vampire, and has been around the galaxy long enough to see most of the history he teaches himself. His pale skin and long, black hair are the source of many a fan club, so his class is often chosen for apprenticeship by female students. These particular students are present for every class he teachers, and are avoiding graduating to the second year specifically to be near him for that much longer. Some students claim that they are under some kind of love spell.
Music: Ms. Megumi: Though Ms. Megumi is the Music teacher, and is well-known for that, she has much greater fame as the most talented Idol in the city. Her shows are sold out months in advance, and anyone who actually gets a ticket anymore is extremely lucky. She is a sound elemental whose hair constantly shifts color through the spectrum, and she dresses plainly when she teaches classes, much to the dismay of most of her students. Her voice has a minor charm effect, and weak-willed students are under the compulsion to do exactly as she says, though it is almost always an accident on her part.
Art: Mrs. Tulip-Blossom: The freshman art teacher at MSF High is also the smallest teacher, a tiny, olive-haired Fairy. Her own artwork takes awhile to complete due to her small size, but it is still normal size and of amazing precision. She also claims to be married to every other teacher in the school, a claim that seems to have no backing in reality whatsoever. She has been known, from time to time, to summon a “model” for the students to draw, only to have that “model” go on a mad rampage through the classroom, destroying many students’ hours of hard work.
Subsititute: Ms. Doppelmeyer: The existence of this staff member is highly questionable, but rumors circulate the school that there is a shapeshifter who takes the place of sick teachers, and has the power to mimic all of them perfectly. Some believe that there are more than one of them. Others believe it's a myth, and the school's magic keeps the teachers from ever getting sick. Most students who think about it too much eventually realize that it doesn't make much difference one way or another, but some will go to extreme lengths to try and prove that the teacher is really a well-paid doppelganger.
Other Staff:
Miss Sakura: Lady Sakura, as most call her, is the owner of the school and the surrounding city. She refuses to talk about how she created or obtained the school, and speculation abounds. She is a human that does not appear a day out of her teens, with the same apparent age as when she began to run the school, according to the alumni. Ever since a strange incident in the northernmost part of the city, Sakura has been practically locked in her office, admitting few and allowing no walk-ins. It was around this time that she hired Kasumi as vice-principal, so many assume that something has taken her concentration away from the school. What, though, requires her constant attention nowadays is a complete mystery. When she does speak to students, it is usually to offer them a position among her handmaidens--a position which carries some additional knowledge about the galaxy itself, but seems limited to female students. Whether this is a necessity of the position or preference of Sakura, however, is unknown. Those that know her now say that she seems much more distracted than she once was, and is unable to have much fun spending time with her old friends.
V.P. Kasumi: Kasumi is the vice-principal of MSF High, and handles most administrative functions and counseling in the school. She is a tall domestic(not covered in fur) Neko with brown ears and a tail, long green hair and eyes only slightly darker and bluer than her hair. She is energetic and enjoys puns, and while she tends to try and have fun with students that seek her counseling, she takes her actual job seriously and makes sure her duties come first. The VP is usually seen wearing a long purple dress that is said to be identical to those belonging to the royalty of the lost Neko kingdom, and rumors persist that she is the princess of the original cat-people on their ancient home planet, as she bears the name of that princess. She is not as fond of fish as most Nekos are, but instead has a penchant for Green Soda, a beverage that tastes slightly of apple. She appears to be the first person at the school and the last to leave every day, so some believe that she actually lives in her office. This may actually be true, as she's been caught sleeping at her desk on more than a few occasions.
Nurse Keiri: Nurse Keiri runs not only the hospital in the city, but also the school's infirmary, where she takes personal care of the most injured students. Being treated by Keiri means that you will be completely healed, but your current form is also at risk. Though many think Nurse Keiri takes pleasure in transforming her patients, it seems a more likely reason that, depending on the damage incurred, it's easier to change her patient into something easier to fix. For example, a huge wound on an Ogre could be dressed with a tiny bandage if they were instead a Fairy, and performing surgery is easier on a larger subject. Then again, one must also consider the fact that most of her medicines are created by mad science means that they can have disastrous side effects. Keiri always tries to convince the poor student that they're better off the way they now are, for whatever reasons she might have, and she's rather skilled at coming up with excellent reasons. Keiri is a human with pink hair and eyes, and usually wears her hair in a ponytail or two pigtails. Any pretenses of her being an angel of mercy are rendered null if you happen to make her angry, though; in that case, you've just volunteered to become her guinea pig, and you'll likely be changed so many times that you'll have forgotten what you were in the first place
Hank, Steve, Bill, Gary, and Tiny: These five compose the school's janitorial staff, and are remarkable in a number of ways. For one, they're penguins. Not demi-human penguins, but actual normal-sized Altearthean penguins of varying types. Secondly, they possess a variety of skills that allow them to deal with the various messes and repairs that the school needs on a regular basis. Hank is a master engineer and contractor, and can organize the efforts to replace chunks of the school that have been blown up. Steve is a plumber and is said to have complete mastery over the element of Water. Bill wears a tiny Haz-mat suit and handles the cleanups with amazing speed. Gary is the electrician, able to bring all of the school's machines to life. Tiny handles the small details of cleaning with a tiny feather duster, and is said to be a pet of Miss Alouette's that summoned the other penguins and bestowed their skills upon them. The validity of this is up in the air. No one ever sees where the janitors come from or where they go when they do their jobs, but it's theorized that they keep a massive chilled janitorial office underneath the school somewhere.
Lunchroom: The Borl: The Borl is a massive golem made of what appears to be living rice and grain that cooks all of the free lunches available in the school's cafeteria. It's said that The Borl has the ability to feed everyone in town, regardless of how many people arrive, and is actually some kind of compassion elemental. He doesn't speak much, and he provides his lunches, which vary day by day but are available in a variety of nutritious meals for meeting the dietary requirements of different races, for free.
