Special Abilities:
Befuddling Defense +X: An acrobat gains a bonus to their passive dodge equal to the obstacle rating of the area they are currently in, and a bonus to active and spot dodges equal to that rating +X.
Obstacle rating:
0: A featureless, flat room with no obstacles.
1: Uneven terrain or a room with steps, windows, etc.
2: Terrain with occasional trees or a room with multiple levels, an empty alleyway.
3: Forested area or uneven cliffside, room with a ladder, alleyway with dumpster, the average classroom.
4: Playground, factory, or other place with lots of hazards and obstacles.
Counterattack X: X times per encounter, an acrobat who has successfully used an active dodge or spot dodge against a target this round may add the highest amount by which one of their dodge rolls exceeded the attack roll the target made against them to their attacks made against that target this round.
Chi Focus X MP: An Acrobat can attune their mind and body with sheer force of will, using an inner strength that functions like magic but only on themselves. X represents both the total amount of Chi pool the acrobat has and the maximum MP cost of any spells they can cast from their Chi pool. An acrobat's chi pool stacks with any other chi pool they may have from other facets or abilities, but not their ability to cast spells with that increased chi pool. An acrobat's chi pool is recharged fully when they get a full night's sleep, or it refills by a number of MP equal to the area's obstacle rating every minute.
Restrictions: None.
Casting Cost: None.
Alterations: Any spell an acrobat casts has its range changed to self-only and its targets changed to self-only.
Casting Actions/Stat/Skill: An acrobat casts a spell through intense focus, requiring the use of their speak action and all of their move action. If any of their movement has been used by something else, including having been drained from a spell or ability, they cannot cast. An acrobat's casting roll is made as a Gym skill roll with either their Agility or Personality stat.
Learning spells: Acrobat spells are all improvised through sheer force of will. They do not need to learn their spells.
