Special Abilities:
Magic(Cursed) XMP: Witches may cast spells with an MP cost of up to X MP.
Restrictions: Witches may cast spells of any element, save purity.
Casting Cost: Witch spells cost 1/10th of the spell's cost in materials, rounded up to the nearest dollar, unless that spell's only targets are characters inflicted with one of that witch's curses, in which case the spells have no material cost.
Spell Alterations: All witch spells do damage to anyone within the spell's area of effect. The damage spells which do not normally deal damage now deal is equal to 1d4+1d4 for every 20 MP the spell costs, cumulatively. A 50 MP spell would deal 3+d4 damage to everyone within the spell's area of effect, for example. Spells that deal damage deal an extra die added of the same die type for every different set of dice of damage those spells normally deal. The range and targets of any spell can be changed to hit a cursed target, regardless of their location.
Casting Actions/Stat/Skill: Witch magic is cast much like mystic magic, with the witch destroying the spell components using a pair of hand actions or a hand action and a speech action to eat the components. However, a witch can reduce this to a single hand action by allowing the components to ignite in their hand, dealing 1d4 damage to the witch. This damage ignores any soak. Witches cast with the Personality stat and the Magic skill.
Learning spells: Witches learn spells through trial and error. They may attempt to cast any spell they have not yet cast that is within their ability, but the difficulty to cast that spell is raised by 6. Once the witch has successfully cat the spell at the raised difficulty, they remember the spell. If they fail the casting roll, the spell still goes off, but it targets the witch instead of their intended target.
Curses xX: Witches have X curses per day they can place on the character of their choice. They must have a possession or some piece of the character, such as a drop of blood or a lock of hair, to designate them as the recipient of a curse. When a target is cursed, the oppose rolls to avoid spells that the witch casts which target them are raised by X. The witch can place multiple curses on the same character, and the effects to the oppose rolls are cumulative, but the witch must have a separate, different item to place the new curses. Once the curse is placed, the item is gone; If it was a possession of the victim, it reappears in their bedroom or in their locker. The item must be small enough to fit in the palm of the witch's hand. The curse wears off at the beginning of the next day.
