Special Abilities:
Compress -X: By spending a hand action to touch a character, the next time during the same round that character casts a spell, they regain X of the MP they used to cast that spell, up to half of the spell's total MP cost. If other effects restore MP or otherwise lower the MP cost of the spell, this ability cannot bring the final net MP cost of the spell counting all of its refunds below half of its original cost. The archivist may use this ability on themselves, and they may spend multiple hand actions to increase the amount of refunded MP, though still never above half.
Store X: An archivist may expend uses of their per-encounter, per-session, or per-day racial or facet abilities to "store" them, allowing the archivist to use them at a later time. An archivist may have X uses total between their various abilities stored, and that ability must be described as having a given number of uses per day or per encounter, so abilities like Divine's Holy Light or Elemental's Create Element can not be used with this ability, but Caster's Emotional Burst and Deviling's Teleport could. If the ability requires any other expenditure such as actions, materials, or MP, those are spent when the archivist stores them, not when they use them later. Using a stored ability takes the archivist's analyze action.
Record Lookup +X: An archivist may spend up to X MP to add up to the amount of MP they spent to a roll made to remember something.
CopyPaste X: X times per session, an Archivist may spend their analyze action to choose a die's roll result they have rolled and "copy" that result, storing it for later use. At any time, they may then spend their analyze action to "paste" that result over a similar die, changing its facing to the previous die roll's result and losing that copy. Note that this ability refers to the actual number shown on the die itself, not counting any modifiers, including any from a high stat, so while it could duplicate the initial 12 rolled on a d12, it would not copy any subsequent numbers rolled during that copy. It would, however, allow you to reroll that 12, and if multiple 12s were copied, they could be pasted in sequence to create a high result. You could not, however, use this ability to grant a result of 12 on a d10, for example.
