Appearance
Tiao has spiky, long black hair that he usually pulls back into a ponytail. He is most commonly seen wearing his black and golden gi over a white undershirt. The gi features Bruce Lee's kanji on its left side (over the heart) and it is also featured on the back. He wears a white sash over his waist, a white headband, and simple leather sandals.
Persona
Li Tiao is known for his positive, enthusiastic qualities and his adoration of all types of competition (specifically athletics and combat). He often mistakenly sees the good in others in spite of their actions, though his capacity for forgiveness has occasionally been criticized; Tiao, usually, only fights to win and will spare his enemies after defeating them. His stunning strength and quickness is simultaneously controlled and enhanced by his fierce loyalty and morality. Tiao can also be very frank at times and is not afraid to express his opinion in a discussion. In spite of his kind-hearted personality, Tiao can feel astonishing rage in cases of extreme turmoil, such as the death of a close friend/relative or when someone slaughters innocents needlessly. He had a simple and practical view of the world from where he came from and is somewhat naive to this new world he finds himself in. Because of this, many characters will mistakenly believe him to be somewhat dense; although once he has a fundamental understanding of things, he learns very quickly. His most noteworthy talent is his will to be successful at all tasks set before him, pushing himself beyond his limitations and never giving up even when the odds are stacked against him.
Back Story
As a normal human boy (from Earth-542), Allen Lane grew up watching Kung Fu movies with his father and older brother. For the longest time, all he wanted to be was a great martial artist but unfortunately, Allen was uncoordinated and kind of a dumpy kid that was picked on by many of the other kids and his older brother. This never dissuaded him from his goals or caused his kind-hearted nature to change.
For years, Allen would beg his parents to enroll him into various martial arts school or "kung fu" class but he could never understand or perform the moves and would always fail out even though he would never give up trying and most of the masters felt bad for not being able to train the kid.
It was the start of his freshman year in high school that his compassionate temperament would be his undoing, or actually transformation. While waiting on his bus, there was a young girl that was crossing the road and was not watching traffic. When she started to cross, there was a vehicle that was barreling down on her and Allen raced into the road and pushed her out of the way but was unable to get out of the way himself. The next thing Allen knew was waking up in the dorm of MSF High wearing the gi and with a name tag that says Li Tiao.

Li Tiao
As close to the look of Li Tiao as I can find. Tiao has jet black hair, which is much longer, and probably would not carry a kon (or bō).
