We have asked a range of questions to children over the last two years. We kept the questions the same this year but wanted aa scaled response to allow us a little more insight into the children's own learning perspectives on curriculum and anything else we can do to improve their access, engagement and appreciation of the Curriculum. We also asked for specific information for how we could make the curriculum better.

Headlines:

Positive outcomes: 

Roughly 90% of children grade their learning as a 3 or above at Little Green with Over 50% grading 4 or above. 

The majority of children continue to support a connected, collaborative, hands-on and real life challenging curriculum. (What else are they comparing this to?!)

65% of children would describe their learning as challenging (3/5 or more.)

Where can we make learning more challenging? Are children encouraged and enabled to challenge themselves - see challenge questions approach in slides developments as one outcome of this feedback.

Overall, we are pleased with the general appreciation of our approaches and will dig a little deeper to explore what else we can do as a mainstream school to make learning even more engaging and challenging for the harder to reach children including considering their own ideas and solutions.

I have never read to a member of staff since year 4.

I think my learning is very good but in English we could do more lessons that we don't write lots of paragraphs because it hurts my hand.
