At Little Green, our intent in Geography is to provide the children with high- quality education and develop inspirational topics to inspire the pupils' curiosity and to deepen their fascination with the world. Our topics are designed to be flexible, so that they are easily adaptable for each year group to increase learners' knowledge, enquiry skills and develop rich, meaningful vocabulary with suited cross-curricular links. As learners progress, they will grow their understanding of the world and develop key Geographical skills.
At Little Green, we work collaboratively to plan our learning intent. This is based around our topic and measured using the National Curriculum Study Programme to ensure that we have the right coverage to successfully progress learners across Key Stages. Throughout the school year we will be monitoring and developing Geography through different mediums such as: pupil voice, learning walks, planning coverage, and updating our topics and geography intents.
