STREAM stands for Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Art & Maths and is a partnership of schools that aims to celebrate creativity and curiosity across the wider curriculum (much in the way that schools compete with and against other schools in a sporting context.

At the start of academic year 2022/23 we launched our own online tracker for foundation assesment. Designed to be iPad friendly so that quick, in the moment, assessments can be made during a lesson, this reducing teacher workload when it's time to submit assessments at the end of the term.
Designed in a google sheet, and accessible through the staff portal, the Tracker calculates W/T ARE, ARE, +ARE based on the information that has been input. At the end of a term, a teacher can them be guided by this suggested attainment value, but can still decide to enter an alternative rating based on their own judgement/context.
It's still in it's infancy, and engagement is improving.
One unexpected outcome of this is that we are coming to the conclusion that we are trying to do too much in our wider curriculum. Therefore, this is absolutely not the finished article, but a work in progress.
To aid efficiency, and hopefully to reduce cognitive overload, a 'Staff Portal' was set up. The idea being that it works as quick reference/toolkit for everything that we may need to refer to during a working day.
You can view the Staff Portal by opening a new tab on any Little Green staff account (for GDPR/safeguarding reasons).
After a very successful transition to Google, and an 'all staff' allocation of Chromebooks, we look to develop how use of technology looks in the future. We have visited a local Google reerence school to get some ideas about what 1 device per pupil (1DPP) might look like at Little Green.
Building towards this, we have gone from having 1 class set of Chromebooks to service the whole school to 1 class set per year group over the last 2 years. Chromebooks suppied by the DFE during Covid-19 are being used to support individual students.
The next step is to support staff to build Chromebook use into some lessons (not just computing, when research is required, or when an app such as TTRS is required). How can tech be used be creatively at Little Green? This step is important for progressing any further along the 1DPP path; there has to be purpose.
