Picture frames
"This week the children in Year 3 are making a Picture Frame using wood. Over the past few weeks the children have been working hard to plan and design their Picture Frame, thinking carefully about the purpose and intended user. "
Making smoothies
"Today the children in Year 3 made their own smoothie. As part of the process, the children were asked to design a smoothie with three different fruits and either orange juice or apple juice. The children learnt how to write instructions to create a recipe and considered how to ensure we are hygienic when preparing food."
Making Biscuit bear biscuits
"Year 4 were inspired by the Biscuit Bear story they have been using in English to design, prepare, bake and decorate their own Biscuits Bears. The results were beauituful and yummy."
Terrarium tools
"Y4 have been designing and making tools to help maintain their terrariums. Some tried to create watering systems, some made some simple tweezers to help move objects around, some made cleaning tools and some had their own ideas! The next step is to evaluate them to see whether they are fit for purpose!"
Alien Creatures
"This week, Year 5 worked very hard on designing and sewing their aliens. The children learnt many different stitching techniques that they used to begin sewing their aliens. Check back next week to see our finished soft alien toys."

Motorised car challenge
"...and the winners in 6E are... James and George with their four wheel drive, bizarre meme inspired car. They did a fantastic job of designing and engineering their car and take home the glory of having the fastest car in the class. Great Job!"
