Student Council Forum - Mr Roberts has the honor of funning and organising the Student Council Forum - a collaborative collection of local primary and secondary schools working together to promote positive change in the community.
Historic themes have included charity work, the environment and mental health. this year we focused on Curriculum with a keen focus on environment within the curriculum.
The journey began at the District Council Offices with a morning of presentations and research from local environmental groups and supported by the local elected council. This was to two council representatives from each schools - some joining virtually due to Covid.
Schools then took these ideas home and developed their own approaches to environment.
On the 22nd June all council members were invited to join us at Watersmeet Theatre to celebrate and share their own successes, learn from each other and vote for their best school approach - congratulations Arnett hills! Little Green Cabinet members (18) all enjoyed the environmental walk, and presentations from sustainability champions from Herts' Catering, Three Rivers District Council and Green Croxley. Well done to everyone involved - look across the SDP and school website for evidence of environment across the curriculum and children making a difference to the environment.
