This project will create a STEAM committee, provide each classroom with a set of STEAM bins, and provide school-wide STEAM challenges and activities in order to improve attendance and build LifeReady skills.
GRANT GOALS
Chronic absenteeism will decrease by 2%, from 11.13% to 9%.
Via teacher survey, teachers will indicate growth (from beginning of the year to end of year) in the area of social skills/collaboration, and provide anecdotal evidence to corroborate the results.
