Learning EXPERIenCE
The Pemberton Technology Showcase is an event for parents in our school community to learn about the different ways that students use technology everyday!
This student-led exhibition demonstrated the different digital tools students use in school. Working in collaborative teams, they created learning experiences that tied to science standards. Our students used innovative digital learning tools to create these experiences - WeVideo, Minecraft Education Edition, Brush Ninja, Sphero Robots, and more! Fair attendees learned about how to use the resources, explored student creations and tried them out firsthand. The adults enjoyed learning from the experts - their students!
What the student(s) like about this experience:
"My dad is an architect and I had to think about how to build it, talk about it and plan in out. Seeing the finished world I made was the best after all the planning and research." - John C.
What the teacher(s) like about this experience:
"Their expertise and interest in technology amaze me. Watching them collaborating on the project and working out the differences of opinion was really impressive." - Ann Ballinger
