Caoimhe joined BIS in August 2025 as an English Teacher. Prior to joining BIS, she spent two years working at an international school in Singapore and six years as a teacher in her hometown of Dublin, Ireland. She was first introduced to teaching as a BA student, volunteering as a tutor for students at risk of leaving school early to help them complete their Leaving Certificate examinations. Seeing the positive impact dedicated adults can have on young people inspired her to study a Master’s in Education, where her thesis focused on positive student engagement, and to pursue a career in teaching.
Outside the classroom, Caoimhe enjoys playing various team sports such as Gaelic football and netball. She is an avid reader, particularly of Irish fiction, and is also a secret baker.
