Chris joined BIS HCMC in August 2022 after spending over a decade teaching and then leading Science, as a 2nd and a Head of Department, in an outstanding teaching school in Birmingham, UK. Chris completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and his PGCE in Science at the University of Birmingham. Prior to undertaking his teaching qualifications, Chris worked in the medical and research sector as a reproductive biologist at Birmingham Women’s Hospital. Chris has also been a TEFL in China and India. Away from work, Chris enjoys spending time with his young family and taking part in sports; he has completed 2 marathons, enjoys playing football and recently taken up Gaelic football. He is also an avid supporter of Tottenham Hotspur FC.
