Georgie joined BIS HCMC in August 2022. After qualifying as a teacher in 2008 and spending 4 years working in a variety of schools in the North West of England, she moved to London to work in an inner London school in Chelsea. After gaining experience leading in a department and pastoral capacity, she moved to another inner London school where she was Head of Year for 7 years. During this time, she championed girls' participation in sport and helped a number of students become the first in their family to go to university. She believes in a holistic approach to PE and sport where everyone can grow, learn and succeed.

Outside of school her passions are travel, fitness and finding ways to challenge herself. Her proudest achievement to date is climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in 2019, and can now add Mt Fansipan in Vietnam to the list of mountains she has stood on top of. She is also part of a Gaelic football team, a sport new to her since arriving in Vietnam.
