Sol is a multiskilled licensed professional teacher equipped with experiences in coaching and mentoring, in a classroom or one-on-one setup, learners with developmental delays, special needs, including typically developing learners. She worked as a Case Manager, Special Education Teacher, Behavior Coach, Reading Intervention Specialist, Shadow Teacher, Financial Advisor in Manila before coming to Vietnam. For almost four years, she was a Freelance Individual Support Teacher at the Learning Support Department of Nord Anglia International School Manila. She strongly advocates for Inclusion of Learners/Individuals with Special Needs into the mainstream of the society.

She is also a registered nutritionist-dietitian with ample experiences in community and public health nutrition research, healthcare documentation in hospitals and clinical settings offshore, nutritional status assessment, nutrition and dietary counselling. Her Masteral thesis in Special Education speaks about on nutritional status, diet intake, and behavioural problems of children with autism during mealtimes.

Sol joined BIS in 2023 and appreciates the school’s culturally diverse and friendly environment. She is passionate about mountain climbing, hiking, travelling. She also enjoys joining community outreach programs and church activities
