Owen joined BIS after 6 years as Head of Mathematics at St Andrew’s International School in Thailand. He had previously spent 5 years teaching at Hyde in the UK followed by a further 9 in Dubai at The English College and Rashid School for Boys. Before teaching, Owen worked as a computer software engineer, back-packed round the world and qualified as a McDonald's restaurant manager. His misguided passions include following Leeds United, but he also loves watching his daughters follow their sporting and artistic passions as they grow and Wales winning the rugby Grand Slams.
