John joined BIS HCMC in August 2019 from England where he worked for four years as teacher and then Head of Computing at an inner London school. Originally from Ireland he completed his degree and PGCE at Queen’s University Belfast. John is a keen programmer who has taught Computer Science successfully across all Key Stages and ran several coding clubs at his previous school. He enjoys travelling and before commencing his PGCE spent two years travelling in Australia and South East Asia.
