Rhys joined BIS in August 2018 from London, UK. He has been teaching music for over 10 years and has worked in both primary and secondary schools in inner London. Prior to full time teaching Rhys was a full-time musician and sound engineer; he plays guitar, drums and is a keen singer and song-writer. He also attended an international school as a student in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Outside of music he enjoys traveling, rugby and spending time with family.
