Amy joined the Primary Music Team at BIS HCMC in August 2021. She moved to Vietnam from Kent in the UK, where she worked previously at a Special Needs school in Ramsgate called Laleham Gap. Here, she set up and led a new music department, working across primary and secondary to establish a core of music at the school. Before teaching at Laleham Gap, she worked at Whitstable School and Herne Bay High, both mainstream schools in Kent.

Prior to teaching in schools, Amy ran her own music teaching business for pre-school children and has worked with numerous music and drama teaching organisations. She has also been an actor/musician and has run her own theatre company. Her interests and passions have always been mainly in the Arts and she believes wholeheartedly in the power of music to transform, nurture and empower.

As well as music, Amy loves reading, writing, yoga, cycling, outdoor swimming and laughing!
