Melissa Holbrook

Melissa joined BIS HCMC in August 2023 as a teacher of Biology, having previously taught at an international school in the United Arab Emirates and schools within the UK. As the eldest in her family and growing up in the North of Ireland, Melissa was captain of university and Gaelic football teams and worked as a summer youth leader and knew then that she wanted to guide and support young people towards their futures. She believes that in an ever changing and challenging world every young person should have access to develop the skills needed to create their own infrastructure for success, and that more so now than ever, wellbeing and instilling a passion for a lifetime of learning are key components. Melissa enjoys crossfit, playing Gaelic football, yoga and running.
