Peter joined BIS HCMC in August 2017. Since completing his PGCE in 2011, Peter has worked in schools in Manchester, and, most recently, at a British boarding school in Changzhou, China. Here he was responsible for Teaching and Learning across the secondary school, and Head of Humanities. He was able to introduce a range of new, innovative, and engaging lessons with a particular focus on spending time outside the classroom and digital learning.  Peter previously spent time working for both the Tambopata Macaw Project and the World Parrot Trust in the Peruvian Rainforest, where he completed his MSc in Conservation Biology. He studied the conservation of endangered Macaws and Parrots and was a scientist on many research expeditions. Outside of the classroom, Peter is a music lover and seeks to attend as much live music as possible, while also collecting vinyl records of his favourite artists. He is also an avid football supporter and player, and always tries to follow his beloved team - Liverpool.
