Mai Le joined BIS in August 1998. Before teaching at BIS, she used to teach at some government schools from 1988 to 1994 and ISHCMC from 1995 to 1997. She was born and raised in Saigon. Her husband was a sound engineer, but he passed away in 2018 after 22 years of living together. Mai Le has had two BAs in teaching languages issued by HCMC University of Pedagogy and Ha Noi Foreign Language University. Her highest degree is MA in the English Language published by HUTECH in 2019. She passed the IELTS exam with speaking skill gained 7.0. She has got lots of great opportunities to get involved in many international workshops and Job-A-likes held in some Southeast Asian countries and Vietnam such as IB; IGCSE and the middle leadership workshops. She was also lucky to have been trained at RMIT Melbourne in 1997. The course provided her lots of great experience and effective teaching methods for international schools. With her family, she has traveled to many countries, large and small, around the world such as Moscow, the USA, London, Japan, Korea, China, Dubai, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia. As she gets older, she still enjoys going to the temples and doing the charity work to help the poor. She also enjoys shopping and participating in meditation.Â
