Bachelor of Teaching Chinese As Foreign Language, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China

Prior to joining BIS in August 2019, Siao Tong taught Mandarin at the British International School Kuala Lumpur for 7 years. She is a Chinese native speaker who graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She has taught a wide range of students from Early Years to KS3. She believes that culture is the soul of languages and as a result her lessons are always embedded with traditional festivals, art, tales, history and songs. She has also been a choreographer in Chinese traditional dance for more than 10 years. Siao Tong has a real love and passion for teaching which she loves to share with her students.
