Steve joined BIS HCMC in August 2023 as Head of Maths, having previously taught at BIS Abu Dhabi, along with schools in the UK. Steve grew up across Europe before studying his bachelors at Durham University. Upon completing his PGCE, he has spent his time fully immersing himself into all aspects of school culture. A strong passion for mathematics and problem solving, he has also been a Boarding Housemaster, Prefect Team Leader, and spent endless hours on the sports fields as a football, cricket and tennis coach. He has found time to maintain his passion for languages, assisting with GCSE Oral exams, along with travelling to many corners of the world during the holidays. A yoga retreat in Sri Lanka, hiking to Everest Base Camp and surfing in Cape Town are examples of recent adventures.
