Francesca Hopkirk

BA Spanish, French and Portuguese at the University of Birmingham, UK

MPhil European and Latin American Comparative Literatures and Cultures at the University of Cambridge, UK

PGCE Secondary English at the University of Warwick, UK

Francesca joined BIS in 2021 and has delighted in getting involved in all aspects of school life at BIS. She is passionate about inspiring a love for reading in her students and has also enjoyed being involved in school plays and musicals, fostering creativity among her students. 

Francesca previously spent time teaching in Peru, where she also volunteered in the Amazon jungle, carrying out zoological surveys. She has also lived in Argentina and has previous experience in academic support at Higher Education Institutions in the UK.

She enjoys playing football and hopes to one day own a cat.
