Harvey joined BIS HCMC in August 2023 as a teacher of chemistry, having previously taught at schools in Dubai and Indonesia as well as a school in the UK. Growing up in Birmingham, Harvey worked in industry (including forensic science)after studying at university and then decided to become a teacher and to pursue his PGCE.  Harvey likes the 'eureka moments' when students discover and expand their repertoire of thinking. He enjoys coaching football, reading, cooking and playing guitar. He also likes watching historical crime dramas.
