Rachael trained as a teacher in the UK and joined BIS in 2009 as a History teacher. After leaving Vietnam for a few years to work in schools in Brazil and Bermuda, she rejoined the school in 2017 as Head of History. She specialises in 20th Century History of Asia and Europe at IGCSE and IB level. Rachael has a second role within the school, that of Equality Champion, seeking opportunities to celebrate the diverse student and staff body to create a sense of belonging. While her favourite place to be is in the Shropshire hills, she loves the excitement and pace of Ho Chi Minh City, exploring new things with her family.
