Helena joined BIS in 2019 as a class teacher and since then has also taken on the role of Primary Wellbeing Leader. Before moving to Vietnam, Helena and her husband travelled the world extensively for over a year, exploring many countries, cultures and cuisines. Her favourite countries were Guatemala, New Zealand and, of course, Vietnam; which is what lead her to pursuing a more settled life in Ho Chi Minh City. Helena grew up in south London and, as an adult, lived for a short time in Brisbane, Australia. Before moving to Vietnam, Helena taught in Tunbridge Wells, England as a KS2 class teacher and leader of Geography and History. Aside from travelling, her other interests outside school include hiking, socialising with friends, walking her dog and trying new foods.
