Joe joined BIS HCMC in August 2025 as a teacher of EAL, having previously taught in South Korea and Vietnam for eight years before returning to England to complete his PGCE. He is delighted to be back in Ho Chi Minh City, having developed a deep appreciation for the Vietnamese people and culture. Joe enjoys seeing students grow in confidence, experiment with new ideas, and push themselves to become the best version of themselves.
Outside the classroom, he trains in Muay Thai and enjoys trivia and quiz nights. Joe has moved to Ho Chi Minh City with his wife and young daughter.
